Ms. Chretien has been at the helm of ABC serving as President and CEO since 1989. She attended UCLA where she centered her studies on business and accounting. By introducing professionalism and winning strategies she has steered her company in a direction that ensures both quality of service and financial strength. Her unique leadership ability is also recognized in the community where she and ABC have been honored as one of the top 25 minority owned businesses in the East Bay Area, and one of the top 500 largest Hispanic owned businesses in the United States. Ms. Chretien is also respected for her unfailing commitment to the community having served on many local and state commissions and advisory committees.
Mr. Thrower is a 30+year veteran of ABC. He is a graduate of Laney College and has completed the P.O.S.T. certificated criminal justice training program. He has honed his management skills having served in almost all of ABCs management positions. As a result he has command knowledge of the entire operation. Mr. Thrower also acts as the key liaison representative to governmental entities that require Homeland Security and MARSEC expertise. He has trained with world-class experts on Anti-Terrorism preparation and is well versed in the logistics involved in modern-day airport security. He is ABCs primary security advisor to federal, state and local law enforcement, and continues to be actively involved as an energetic participant in community business associations and local public coalitions.
Mr. Grant came to ABC after attaining much of his supervisory and managerial expertise in the health care and gaming industries. He has been both a hospital service supervisor and the director of security for a gambling casino in Northern California. Mr. Grant has more than ten years of managerial experience at ABC. He is the manager who is directly responsible for ensuring that the operational elements of a client’s contract are carried out in accordance with agreed upon conditions. There is an old adage that says, “You can’t expect what you don’t inspect.” Most of Mr. Grant’s effort is centered on overseeing field supervisors, site training and inspection, as well as, client interaction to ensure total customer satisfaction.
Ms. Cervantes Is ABC’s Management Scheduler. She is responsible for maintaining control of the weekly schedule of nearly three hundred guards. This complex process is computer automated to ensure that properly trained personnel are assigned to specific work sites. Ms. Cervantes is very familiar with our employee-client pool. She has the unique skill and innate ability to match specific personnel with the special needs and requisites identified by our clients. Under Ms. Cervantes’ watchful eye you are assured of an efficient and timely response.
Mr. Hagan is a graduate of the FBI National Academy (FBI-NA 158) and St. Mary’s College. He has more than five years of managerial experience with ABC. He was brought on board as ABCs contract manager after serving 32 years with the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office. He is a retired Captain with many years of executive level law enforcement experience. His expertise includes former directorship of the sheriff’s regional academy and training center. He was also the commanding officer of the only nationally accredited mega-jail in California. Mr. Hagan reputation as an avid problem solver can be put to work in situations where clients’ special needs require creative solutions.
Mr. Drury is a marketing and sales professional with over 25 years of experience working in the public and private sector. With a well rounded portfolio of sales and marketing in service type fields and as a former business owner himself, he knows how to be reliable and results oriented. While being able to see the big picture, he is also able to pay attention to the minutest details that are important to note in a service as vital as security. He is extremely approachable and people- centered and always has the client’s best interest at heart. When clients work with Mr. Drury they feel they were handled professionally and enjoyed the experience as well.
Major McKinley is a graduate of California, Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST), Police Academy at Evergreen Valley College and has served in the United States Army in West Berlin Germany in HQ/MP. He joined the ABC Security team bringing with him specialized skills attained from a well-rounded career in security . Major McKinley Sr. has also attended several training seminars on sales technique and strategy and has been recognized for excellent achievement high volume of security contact's .With extensive experience in marketing advertising. His experience includes unique expertise in the supervision of hospital behavioral health security specialists, and in the security management of acute patients confined within a treatment center. He has also supervised and managed in a number of corporate security environments that help make him an ideal lead manager, highly capable of accurately assessing and implementing specialized security programs. Major McKinley Sr. has also completed the Developing and Managing Volunteers and Emergency Program an Orientation to the Position independent study course for FEMA and has a TWIC card. Mr .McKinley Sr has also join several companies as a affiliate for the latest in products and technologies and innovation, in IP video technology and alarms
